I took this photo around 5 a.m. from the parking lot at Havasupai Hilltop. It's near the start of the trailhead to Havasu Falls. I took a long exposure photo just to see what I would be walking into. I brightened the photo a bit, this is the result. The white lines are headlamps on people who are walking while my shutter was open.
My name is Cassie Marie Perez. I am a native to the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. I started loving photography at a young age and for the most part I am self taught. I enjoy photography as a hobby and my favorite subjects to capture are landscapes, wildlife, nature, action and sporting events. I love to travel and capture new sights. My favorite thing about photography is being able to freeze time, and look back at the photograph and have the memories come back to life.
