This is such a beautiful shot of a bristle-cone pine. Your angle and the lighting is wonderful. Up close and personal, they aren't very tall, but the size of this trunk makes me think it lived a very long life. Wistfully, . . .if only we could ALL look so sharp and clean and stately when we're old.
