View of Iceberg Lake at the base of Mt. Wilbur. Hiked in from Many Glacier Valley. We ate lunch here and hiked a ways up the steep mountain to get a better view of the lake. We saw 2 wolverines, and a few polar bears, (just kidding about that last part!) The "polar bears" were actually people who decided to take a quick dip into the ice cold lake.

My name is Cassie Marie Perez. I am a native to the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. I started loving photography at a young age and for the most part I am self taught. I enjoy photography as a hobby and my favorite subjects to capture are landscapes, wildlife, nature, action and sporting events. I love to travel and capture new sights. My favorite thing about photography is being able to freeze time, and look back at the photograph and have the memories come back to life. I love when I get an amazing shot just for being in the right place at the right time with the right eye. My main DSLR camera is a Nikon D7000 and I have taken many shots with a Nikon D70.
